RELAIS CARDINAL LEOPOLDO B&B is an early 20th century building located on the hill by Porta Romana at walking distance from the city center. Restauration works at Relais Cardinal Leopoldo have been carried out in detail and its evocative furniture makes it an ideal place for a relaxing and pleasant stay. Its calm and safe area allows easy parking even opposite the building. A big terrace with direct access to our charming garden is available to all our guests. Relais Cardinal Leopoldo B&B is not far from S. Maria Novella train station, the bus stop is 150m from the villa. Our Bed and Breakfast is located on the way to the motorway exit Firenze Certosa, it is also a strategic starting-point to the Chianti area whose gorgeous farms and castles are a few minutes away as well as the medieval and historic towns of Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Pistoia, Pisa and Lucca. Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci is just outside the city center at 10 kilometers from the bed & breakfast. RELAIS CARDINAL LEOPOLDO B&B has unique rooms each of which is dedicated to a great italian artist: a single room, two twin-bedded rooms, two double rooms one of which is linked to a single room; all bedrooms have their own bathroom, satellite TV, internet access. Some of the bedrooms have a fine view of nearby Forte Belvedere overlooking the historic city center. The hair-dryer, the iron, the air conditioning, the fan and three mountain-bikes are available on request. Breakfast buffet is in your own refrigerator located in the kitchen and is made of coffee, cappuccino, milk, tea, orange juice, corn flakes, bread, brioches, cakes, jam, eggs, pork salted meat, cheese, biscuits, fresh fruit, yoghurt and honey; in the cold months breakfast is made in the living room before the fireplace in a cosy and friendly environment, in springtime our guests can enjoy breakfast on our quiet and lovely terrace overlooking the lush green garden. Guests will be given the main door key enabling them to go out and back freely. The landlady will be pleased to give suggestions to her guests on a number of sites to visit and will arrange guided tours to Florence as well as excursions to the gorgeous tuscan countryside or wherever her guests will like, with advance notice. All rooms at Bed & Breakfast Cardinal Leopoldo are smoke-free.
