1) - Those who come down from the Mountains of Passo Godi or from the Mountains of Alfedena see the opening of valley where the dark green of the beechtrees mixes the light blue of the Lake of Barrea. In winter there is also ski-touring, cross-country skiing and even the unusual activity known as “ciaspole” i.e. walking on snow shoes. On the other hand for downhill skiers the lifts at Pescasseroli and Passo Godi (Scanno) are to be found only a few kilometres away.
